Buffalo International Film Festival Brings Movies of the World to WNY

BUFFALO, N.Y. – January 9, 2007 — The Buffalo International Film Festival, Inc., was founded as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation on January 21, 2005. The organization is planning a major international film festival in and for the benefit of the diverse Western New York community including the counties of Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany and other interested counties.

The festival will include film and video competitions, screenings, educational events and appearances by industry professionals and personalities.

The President and Founder of the festival is Edward Summer, the Treasurer is David Koepsell and the Recording Secretary is Renee Russell.

Mr. Summer has worked extensively in the motion picture industry and as a writer and journalist.
