We are now accepting Submissions for OUT-OF-COMPETITION SCREENINGS
The Buffalo Film Society is seeking Independent Features, Shorts, and Documentaries as well as Studio Feature Films in any language from any country in the world (provided they have English Subtitles) for a year-round screening program in Western New York.
We also welcome Preview Screenings and Regional Premieres from Major and Independent Distributors, even those that are in connection with a commercial release.
(We can supply a member audience of discriminating and educated film goers through The Buffalo Film Society as well as regular folks who just enjoy new movies. We maintain a large mailing list for this purpose.)
Selections will also be considered for later in-competition screenings.
Submitted films may have been previously screened at other festivals.
We accept only films on standard DVD at this time.
Submission will NOT be returned.
We will notify filmmakers in writing about films under further consideration and make final arrangements.
The programming process is very slow. Because of programming time constraints, all submissions will not be selected.
