Buffalo
International Film Festival Represented at Sundance
2007
BUFFALO, N.Y. – January 23, 2007 —
Danielle DiGiacomo, documentary committee chairperson for the Buffalo
International Film Festival (BIFF), is currently on hand at the 2007 Sundance
Film Festival in Park City, Utah, to talk with interested parties about the
impending inaugural festival and its competitions to be held in Buffalo, New
York.
DiGiacomo is heading up BIFF’s
documentary competition titled Cities
Rising From the Ashes. The competition will award the best short- and
feature-length documentary dealing with constructive solutions to urban
problems. Submission rules and guidelines will be announced soon at

Buffalo International Film Festival was
founded as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation on January 21, 2005. The organization is planning a
major international film festival in and for the benefit of the diverse
Western New York and international film communities. The
festival will include film and video competitions, screenings, educational
events and appearances by industry professionals and personalities.
